The person, responsible for the creative menu in Restaurant Samokovi is one of the most renowned Bulgarian chefs - Veselin Kalev. After gaining a lot of experience as a head-chef of a restaurant with 13 Gault Millau points and as a team-member of a restaurant with 2 Michelin stars and 17 Gault Millau points he comes back to Bulgaria as head-chef of the restaurants in Hotel Rila. Since that moment, Restaurant Samokovi is the place where he creates his culinary masterpieces.
